FAMILY CAMP - July 25th to 30th

 

 

With summer officially upon us, plans are in full swing for this year’s annual Family Camp scheduled for July 25-31. For the third consecutive year Camp will be held on Carroll Fitzgerald’s property in Folly Mountain just below the train trestle bridge.

FBC Family Camp Committee lists regulations that must be adhered to:

 

There is only allowed one  vehicle per campsite. 

(Exceptions made for set up time and concert)

 

Waste water buckets must be used for dish water.  Do not dump in the woods or fields.

 

No pets during camp week.

 

An open camp fire will be held in a designated fire pit area each evening. No other open fires allowed.

 

Please be courteous and respect others. Quiet time is 11:00 pm.

 

Family Camp practices ‘no trace’ camping.  Please keep things cleaned up.

 

Children and youth will remain the responsibility of their parents for the entire camp week.

 

Children being dropped off daily are welcome with pre-arranged supervision.

 

Shirts, shorts and/or cover ups are expected to be worn over bathing suits at all times except when swimming.

 

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult when swimming.

 

Children Under 4 must be accompanied by an adult to the programs offered.

 

Please respect the boundaries outlined and do not trespass on Mrs. Fitzgerald’s private property.

 

Please stay away from the rocks by the stream near parking (requested by Carole).

 

No knives except in camping gear and will be used by adults only.

 

Camping Tips:

Please respect others and remember you are an example to those  who may be watching you.

 

EVERY CAMPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN GARBAGE AND MUST TAKE IT WITH THEM!
