A Word From Steve Jones
April 15th, 2019
Dear Pastors, Missionaries, Chaplains and Friends,
Steve here...I am pleased to announce that our newest Fellowship International missionaries, Luc and Denise Tétreault have just departed for Pakistan.
The Tétreaults said farewell to their home church, Bon Berger, Orleans, ON, and after a couple of years of preparation and deputation, they are in Pakistan. Luc will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Shikarpur Christian Hospital.
Thank you to the many Fellowship churches and donors who have partnered with Luc and Denise in this vital ministry.
The Fellowship has been partnered with this hospital since the 1960s which gives vital health care to mothers and children. The medical care has given our missionaries unique opportunities with authorities for other strategic ministry in the area.
The Tétreaults are currently involved in a time of orientation with Fellowship International missionaries, Terry and Joanie Wiley. This summer they will be in language study in Murree (home to our MK school, Murree Christian School, located in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains). In the fall they will transition to Shikarpur (located approximately 12 hours away) where they will continue language study and slowly transition into their responsibilities at the hospital.
Please be in prayer for Luc and Denise. Language study is an intense time and this, mixed with “culture shock”, can be extremely challenging. The political unrest within the country also adds another layer of complexity.
We thank God for Luc and Denise and ask you to pray for them as they serve the Lord in Pakistan among our missions team.
Have a blessed week,
Our 2013 Fellowship theme verse is:
“We live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
