A Word From Steve Jones
february 11th, 2019
Steve here… It’s the New Year and some of us may be making New Year’s resolutions. I’m not suggesting this is a good thing, but I’d like to suggest one resolution for 2014: I encourage you to visit the Holy Land in 2014. Marilyn and I visited Israel in 1998 and the experience moved us deeply. You study the scriptures for years, and then you see the actual locations. It affects you. We got back home and had the sensation of grief. It was weird. We couldn’t figure out what we were feeling. Then one of my elders/friends at Parkdale Baptist Church said, “you’re feeling home sickness.” Bernie nailed it. Home sickness. We wanted to be home and our trip to the Holy Land conjured up that sensation. Many of you know I’m a wannabe artist. Here are a few of my sketches made during our visit in 1998. Please enjoy. I hope they whet your appetite to start praying about a visit to Israel in 2014. By the way, a protocol officer from the Prime Minister’s Office contacted me last week to invite me to accompany Prime Minister Harper and his Canadian delegation on his State Trip to Israel starting this weekend. I’m off to the Holy Land again, hopefully to do some more sketching. Thanks for praying while I’m on this trip.
Have a blessed week, Steve Jones Our 2014 Fellowship theme verse is: “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13 :35 (NLT)

![]() It is with mixed emotions that I write to share the news of the home going of Andrew Rozalowsky on Monday, January 6, 2014. Over the last few weeks we have shared through email updates and prayer requests related to Andrew’s battle with leukemia. We, of course, are sad for the tremendous loss felt by his passing—in particular for his wife, Suzanne (one of our administrative assistants), and also for his two young sons—Jacob (3 ½) and Daniel (9 mths). However, we know that he is now enjoying the splendor of Heaven with His Lord and Saviour. A service celebrating Andrew’s life and faith was held on Friday, January 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church (454 Arkell Road, Guelph, ON). Visitation details can be found at the funeral home web site. Please continue to be in prayer for Suzanne, the boys and family members. Steve Jones Fellowship President The Fellowship P.O.
