A Word From Steve Jones

Hola church family,
Today was a long day but a very good one! We got up at 5:00 this morning got a shuttle back to the Houston airport. Got thru customs and security once again. This time we got to sit and have some breakfast together and leisurely waited to board our plane. We arrived in San Pedro Sula at11:00 am and our van and driver were waiting. We drove for 2 1/2 hours or so to Siquatipeque! It was a beautiful day for a drive thru the countryside! When we arrived at Cerro Da Lus our lunch was ready! We had an awesome late lunch of roasted chicken and mashed potatoes with a salad, mmm!
Our driver returned at 5:30 and took us to see Melody, Tina and the kids! What a warm welcome we got, lots of hugs and smiles! We brought 200 maple cream candies to spoil everyone with a few times over our visit so we gave everyone (kids, staff) one today. It was a little taste of Nova Scotia!
Last year's team did a fantastic job! Things look good! We see progress! They love the storage area and the field looks great. The greenhouse has been a great blessing and the roof and the yard look great! Thank you everyone from FBC!
We have never seen Melody look so good! She just had a real joy flowing from her! It was nice to see!
We were all climbed over, smacked and hugged over and over again by the kids.
Chris, Emma, Shania and Autumn having never been to the home before were really impressed by how happy, content and well looked after the kids are! It really is Home, they are one big family!
God is so good!! Tomorrow the work begins!
God bless you all!
