A Word From Steve Jones
September 24th, 2018
Day 4 - April 17
God is good all the time. Dios es bueno, todo el tiempo.
These words are repeated frequently as God shows us over and over again we are not on our Mission, but on HIS mission in Honduras. HE has prepared the wAy for us. When we step out in faith God shows up. Everything is coming together in ways we never imagined but God knew.
There are many examples but here are a couple. Our translator Luis, from 3 years ago, has a sister Ani. Her friend korrie is our new translator. Her brother is Ani's new boy friend and has a truck to haul gear for us. In addition he is an electrician, which we need to wire in the emegency lights and the kitchen remodeling. He is a forrester and can get the garden out front looking great for a very low cost. His name is Angel we think he is our Angel sent from God.
Luis himself is such a God send he purchased the emergency lights and smoke detectors in Tegucagalpa and brought them to us fridaynight.
Yesterday he connected us with a guy that does fire extinguishers. He will install them, and check them every 3 months and annually change the chemical for a small cost. In addition they will do training on how to use them.
We handed out the letters to the kids. They were thrilled to get them, it was just like Christmas. Thank you everyone.
We ended the day with a trip to get supplies and ice cream. Then topped it off with the best BBQ ever at Jeffries' father place, Melodie's friend. It was so awesome. None of us have ever tasted a better BBQ.
God is good, all the time.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. "Todays Photos" below:
