Hi it’s great to be back in Canada after an amazing trip to Papua New Guinea and thanks so much for praying for us. We hope to get out a newsletter soon. In the meantime here’s a couple of pictures for you to enjoy and there’s a whole lot more including video clips if you would like to see any of them at the Dropbox links below:
One of the tribal believers, Kapia Joseph, began as a young man nearly 40 years ago helping my father with language study (first picture) and here he is now “adopting” my daughter Cassandra as his own as he greets us at the airport, reading his first Dom Bible, late into the night with tears of joy, and wearing his Canadian t-shirt proudly! J He represents one of many Dom people who can now read the Bible as God speaks to them in their heart language!!
So blessed and so thankful to have been given this privilege by the Lord and together take part in such an eternal event. Thanks so much for your partnership with us that helps make all of this possible!
Praise the Lord,
Martin and Tammy
PS. There’s never a dull moment in the Lamb family it seems and often things seem to happen when I am far away from home…. On our way back through the Philippines Tammy called me to say that Cody had just been in a bad accident and that my car was totaled. Not the kind of call you want to get when you are thousands of miles away from home!! A man had t-boned him driving late at night without his lights on and being a large truck it drove right over the front of the car. Thankfully by God’s grace Cody and his friends with him were all okay but now of course we are praying for provision of another vehicle. Please pray with us as we look for God’s direction - it’s the one that I need for all my travels.
