Dear Pastors, Missionaries, Chaplains and friends,
Steve here…some of you heard I was invited by Prime Minister Harper to visit Israel during his state trip to the Holy Land in mid-January. I had a marvelous time. I visited Bethlehem, Nazareth, Capernaum and the Mount of the Beatitudes with the Prime Minister and a small group of 20 others. A highlight was praying with our Prime Minister beside the Sea of Galilee with a few other evangelical denominational leaders.
I prepared a report for our National Council, but thought you might be interested in reading an abbreviated report. Lots of photographs are included; you can read it here.
A few of us asked Prime Minister Harper what we can do for him. He said, “I believe in prayer, I practice it; please pray for me.” Let’s all pray for our Prime Minister.
Have a blessed week, Steve
