Alex was born and raised in Bathurst, N.B. where he came to know Jesus in High school. After school he pursued a career in law enforcement. In 2008 he came to a fuller understanding of what it means to follow Jesus, moved to Nova Scotia, met April, and today they are married with 3 children. Alex’s background in police work was motivated by his heart for people and for the community. Today, that same passion and care for people shows up in his ministry with the youth of the church and the local community here in the Great Village and surrounding area. As FBC's youth and families pastor, Alex seeks to come alongside young families helping them to build Christ-centered homes. His other interests include the Boston Bruins, cars, and life in the outdoors.
