Jenny Leigh Campbell Memorial Bursary
Born in 1984, Jenny was a wonderful girl full of possibilities and energy. She had an adventurous spirit and a heart full of deep longings. Her creative nature produced many stories, poetry, and art that are treasures that have been and will be shared for many years to come. Jenny had a bubbly personality and a smile that could steal hearts. As a youngster she ran through Faith Baptist Church, enjoying the folks who attended. Jenny trusted in Jesus as her Savior and was baptized as a young girl. She made friends easily and was loyal to each one.
Her teen years had struggles that took her to the wild side of life. She succumbed to the call of that wild side, which resulted in a life of addiction and abuse. She had a beautiful soul, albeit tortured at times. Through all of Jenny’s struggles, she never lost her care for others, which ultimately cost her life - the result of a domestic homicide. We, as her family, are left with a deep sadness, and yet thankful to have known Jenny and loved her. We will always remember and love her as the gregarious, yet melancholy soul she personified. We believe we will see her again in Heaven. We hope that those who get acquainted with Jenny through her Memorial Bursary will learn from her life.
