Archway Christian Counselling
Archway Counselling Association provides a broad range of counselling services founded on God’s truths to help people move toward wholeness. Our agency started when it became apparent that people in the Truro area needed a Christian counselling centre. We are a unique counselling centre because we are a community based, non-denominational, charitable organization, governed by a volunteer Board, and staffed by trained professionals.
Of the world’s 6,900 language groups, 2,500 are still unreached. Ethnos Canada, founded in 1942 as New Tribes Mission, helps local churches train, coordinate and send missionaries to these peoples.
Martin Lamb has spent many years involved in helping with church planting in India, but he felt the Lord leading him back to serving with Ethnos Canada. He has a great sense of responsibility to challenge the Church here in Canada with the urgent cry of the unreached.
Fellowship Atlantic is affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada. We serve congregations primarily located in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Their mandate is to provide the congregations in their organization resources and support so that they can be effective in reaching the communities they serve.
We are a movement of over 500 Evangelical Baptist churches in Canada — united through our faith in Christ working nationally and beyond our borders.
Francophone Ministry Support
Fellowship National brokers and Regions manage new Francophone church plants in Quebec and other French-speaking regions within Canada through direct and strategic partnerships. Fellowship Baptist churches and individual donors will continue to establish collaborative relationships with Francophone church plants until French Canadians self-identify at 2-3% evangelical Christian (currently 0.8%).
Gospel Mission of South America
GMSA exists to glorify God by helping sending churches and their missionaries to establish reproducing churches in South America. We work to accomplish this goal through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. As a church, we send support to Curtis and Diane Steward who are involved in church planting in Chile.
Hope 106.3 is your radio source for today’s contemporary Christian music. We've been in operation since September 2003 and we were the first 24 Hour Christian Music Station in Nova Scotia! If you have any questions about our programming or would like to financially support the ministry of Hope FM, please feel free to contact us by e-mail or telephone 902-843-HOPE.
Melodie serves at Casa Hogar, a Christian children's home that provides a safe home environment for children at risk (orphans, abandoned children, severe neglect, abuse, and extreme poverty situations).
Each child receives the warmth and support of a home and family, including: food, clothing, medical care, education, recreational activities, and most importantly, love and spiritual guidance. Fatherless children come to know God as their Father, and Jesus as their eternal companion.
Mount Traber Bible Camp
Mark and Debbie Taylor are BCM Missionaries assigned to Mount Traber Bible Camp. Mount Traber is a non-denominational bible camp where the sole purpose is to help young people enjoy an awesome time at camp and show them that God loves them and how to have fun in the beautiful outdoors that God had created for them. Mark and Debbie are part of BCM (Bible Centered Ministries) International, Canada.
Open Arms Church
We are a church plant under the direction of Faith Baptist Church in Great Village NS. ‘Open Arms’ is the essence of who we are under Christ: we want everyone who comes in our doors to feel welcomed, encouraged, and at home. Our mission is "Knowing Jesus and Making Jesus known through Love, Faith, Truth and Action."
We welcome you to come as you are no matter where you come from or what your background is. We have a relaxed and modern style, with a focus on the delivery of the truth of God's Word. Our greatest desire is to see you experience love from our people and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Each fall our church family gathers up small gifts, toiletries and more to fill Christmas shoeboxes through Operation Christmas Child. These are tangible expressions of God’s love to children who may receive few other gifts. They are delivered through local church partners and provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.
