Benevolence Team
The benevolence team is ready to help when needs arise. They love to care for people in practical ways, such as helping with groceries or fuel, home heating, school food programs, and more! They also are a connecting point for helping people find other resources and managing finances. 
Decorating & Stage Design
We like to switch up set design and to decorate our facility for different seasons. If you have a knack for decorating or some creative style ideas, maybe this ministry is for you! |
Children's Ministry
If you think offering children a fun, safe place to learn about God is essential, then children's ministry may be for you! We partner with families of children from birth to grade 6. Teaching kids not your thing? We have support roles available too! 
Drama Team
Do you enjoy acting or performing? We like to enhance ministry opportunities through a play or skit. Sometimes we also do larger performances or help the children & youth with a production. |
Connections Café
We love good food with friends! Twice a month we share lunch together after the Sunday service, either through a café lunch made by volunteers or shared potluck style. The café is run on donations, and takes a team to make happen. 
Elders & Deacons
Elders & Deacons are voted in by the membership and form our church leadership board which helps support our pastors and church family. They are also help take care of property maintenance and projects. |
Events & Community Outreach
We love serving the community and hosting events on our property. Whether it's a children's event or something for the whole family, it takes a team to get everything prepared and accomplished. Some regular events we hold are the Fall Festival, Christmas in the Village, spring car show and Family Camp. |
Finance Team
We believe in fiscal responsibility and accountability. We want to make sure that the offerings coming in are used in a God-honouring and responsible way, to further His kingdom locally and abroad. If you are good with numbers and believe financial stewardship is a priority, consider joining the Finance Team. |
Hospitality
Don't you love to see a friendly face when you go to a new place? Having people there to help you find your way around? Offering you a cup of coffee? Our hospitality team wants to make you feel welcome each time you visit. Starting with helping you find a place to park, and greeting you at the door, to serving hot drinks and helping you find a seat. You can be part of this friendly team too! |
Life Groups
Life groups offer an opportunity to dig deep with a smaller group of people, form strong friendships, and do life together. You can help guide discussions and studies, or open your home to host a group. |
Missions
Missions are at the heart of our ministry. We are called to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. We help support missionaries in Canada and abroad. We also have a strong connection with a children's home in Honduras and have sent a number of teams down to visit over the last decade. Check out our Missions page for more info! |
Men's Ministry
Men helping build up other men, through connecting events, food, and the great outdoors. Check out our yearly outreach breakfast, men's book club, potluck, camping trip, and more! Can you help with organizing these events, or offering new ideas? |
Prayer Movement Group
We believe prayer is a powerful thing and that we should be praying for all that we do. The prayer movement group is dedicated to praying for specific ministries, events, and people, as well as the direction and leadership of FBC. |
Property & Development
Do you like hands-on projects, or envisioning what is possible for the future? Then be a part of our team that helps maintain, improve and plan for projects on our property. |
Tech Team
Are you good with computers? Do you have an ear for music? Our tech team makes sure the audio & visual elements are good quality for our services and events, both in person and online. |
Women's Ministry
Women supporting women through special events, Bible studies, and personal connections. We have shared in worship & prayer evenings, breakfasts, walks in the park & more. Do you have some ideas of what women's ministry could look like? Consider joining the planning team! |
Worship Team
Our teams help lead you in worship through music and song. Maybe you have a hidden musical talent, or you're just learning how to play an instrument. Talk with one of our worship leaders about how you can be involved. |
Youth Ministry
FBC youth leaders are intent on providing quality programs for the youth in our communities. We endeavor to run a program that is safe, beneficial, & honouring to God. We are committed to the youth whose lives we seek to influence for good and for God. |
